MyHealthTree

A patient‑centred care companion that turns complex hospital updates into a clear, living “tree” of actions — making care transparent and easier to revisit.

MyHealthTree began with a simple question: how might we help patients and families feel informed — not overwhelmed — during hospital stays? The result is a calm, visual “tree” that organises procedures, medications, and next steps into branches people can understand at a glance.

We iterated through research, think‑aloud testing, SUS and heuristic reviews to refine the interaction model. The latest prototype connects phone and in‑room TV for a shared view, and introduces nurse annotations directly on a patient’s tree to support transparent, collaborative conversations.
